INDIA HONEST, a freelance writer,is hugely biased to an ambition and promise to build a "Strong India - Proud India", even by asking for the assistance and leadership of any of the social or political authority or leader, be it Mayawati or Mamta or Jaylalita or Kiran; be it Mulayam or Naveen or Naidu or Rahul or Modi or Yogendra (but not the turncoat Arvind) or Hazare or Parriker.
The only criteria is confident guarantee of delivery of the results in time for the people and nation , that is within a time frame starting from six months to six years, may be in phases. Indians are no more in mood of waiting for another trial and error method for next five years.
The leader may not have the muscles like Dara Singh or Salman Khan, but must have the determination and dedication of Margret Thatcher or Putin or Sardar Patel and he/she should have the expertise and experience to choose a judicious and strong path out from every difficult circumstances, to find a way to get the above captioned goal, like the Arjun found while aiming the fish-eye in Mahabharata.
Himanshi Dhawan,TNN spreads a news on April 16, " India TV Editor quits over Modi interview, sparks row" and that news invited the biased freelancer INDIA HONEST to comment on the contents in the context of above "promise" as :
Himanshi Dhawan,TNN says : "India TV editorial director Qamar Waheed Naqvi's resignation over an allegedly "fixed" interview of BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi acquired deep political overtones on Tuesday with Congress claiming that it showed the kind of pressures journalists faced from BJP. AAP was also active on the social media congratulating Naqvi for his "courage". Congress recalled the police complaint of a senior journalist of the Hindu after she received got threat calls for a piece she wrote on Modi late last year. "This is the trailer of the good days that BJP advertisements are promising" said the party's media chief Ajay Maken.
IH asks, can any of the political leader or news media challenge that if you engage and ask any bunch of average viewers after watching any ten news media channels for a day than determine that which channel is supporting or biased or attracted to which political or social ideology ? The result will be 9 out of 10 will be correct. Then what's buzz behind this howling of AAP and Ajay Maken. If Kajiwal has forgotten the Krantikari episode of AAJ TAK and the charismatic neutral P.P. Bajpayee ?
Why Maken wish to forgot the pre set drama of press conference and Rahul entering in midst to dramatise his anti corruption criminal drive by tearing the ordinace papers,even when Sonia has joined the hands of same convicted Lalu and shared the dais in election rally?
Did Rahul seriously opposed tainted Ashok Chavan's candidature or alliance with Lalu's RJD? Moreover the timely posting of Manish Tewari in I&B ministry aimed to tighten the string around the throat of the vibrant media around election time .
INDIA HONEST questions what's the big buzz, if Rajat Sharma decides to do so indeed ? Don't we find pro party newspapers or pro Government news media in bigger and older democracies world over ?
What we find in China and Russia in the name of news media ? What's the big buzz if one or all channel promotes the thoughts of one or other political leader in a restricted interview ? Why you undermine the capability of the intelligentsia of India, that will take out the real and true meaning of what the leader is intending to communicate ?
IH concludes that it is the individual jealousy, be it of a competing news channel or of the opposing political leaders,and those are raising bogus cry , the facts of which are well known to public.
The news media may be biased or not is not the big question, but the question is if they are spreading an unknown fear or are they judging others with a selfish motive ? Why not your judgement should be biased to promotion of only "a Strong India, a United India , a Proud India" ?
