****Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal arrived at the Varanasi railway station reading: 'Dekho dekho Delhi ka bhagoda aaya' by activists of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena.Heated words were exchanged between AAP volunteers and activists of the Sena when AAP supporters removed the posters.Kejriwal went to the residence of sheher Qazi Maulana Gulam Yasin at Tilbhandeshwar area to solicit support in his fight against Modi.However, the sheher Qazi remained non-committal on the issue of support of Muslim constituents.Muslims present there asked Kejriwal about his plans for the community's welfare,and in his conversation with the sheher Qazi, Kejriwal also mentioned about Okhla area where some people had been framed in fake cases of terrorism.
****Arvind Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party or AAP seems to have lost steam in the last lap of the gigantic general election now being held. NDTV's latest opinion poll shows the BJP surging ahead in Delhi and likely to win six of the national capital's seven Lok Sabha seat. The AAP could have to settle for only one seat and the Congress is expected to draw a blank in contrast to 2009, when it had won all seven seats.

****Out of 13 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates for the Lok Sabha seats in Punjab, seven have declared assets of more than Rs. 1 crore each.Dr Daljit Singh, contesting in Amritsar, leads the tally with total assets of Rs. 25.17 crore, second richest AAP candidate is Harvinder Singh Phoolka, with assets of Rs. 7 crore. Dharamvir Gandhi (Patiala), Rs. 4.51 crore; Himmat Singh Shergill (Anandpur Sahib), Rs. 4.44 crore; Harinder Singh Khalsa (Fatehgarh Sahib), Rs. 3.55 crore; Sucha Singh Chottepur from Gurdaspur, Rs. 3 crore; and Bhagwant Mann (Sangrur), Rs. 1.84 crore, runs the AAP rich list, while other six AAP contenders are lakhpatis.
