Hot summer of Amethi has boozed out Priyanka Gandhi, when she said she will not be campaigning in Varanasi, where party candidate Ajay Rai is pitted against BJP prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi.
Priyanka told reporters in reply to queries,that Priyanka could campaign in favour of her party candidate against Mr. Modi in Varanasi.She said,“I am not going to Varanasi. I will campaign in Amethi and Rae Bareli only,” .
Recently, she had trashed reports that she wanted to challenge Mr. Modi for the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat and was stopped by the party high command and said,“My decision to not contest is personal. I will only change it (if) I feel from within that I should,” .
Priyanka has maintained that she wanted to campaign only in Amethi, from where her brother is contesting, and in Rae Bareli, from where her mother and Congress president Sonia Gandhi is fighting.
Priyanka today refused to comment on yoga guru Ramdev’s controversial remarks targeting Rahul Gandhi.
But INDIA HONEST could not justify why Priyanka not willing to comment on what Ramdev has said, or what Irani or Vishwas complains about Amethi, but still she is talking day and night on her one point programme about Gujarat Development model's use .
What she wants to know about Modi model, while campaigning in Amethi ? Do she wants to replace it with Vadra's Hariyana Land Grabbing Personal Development model ?
People of nation wants answer from Rahul and Sonia , what they did for the 125 crore people of India in last ten year rule of UPA 1& 2 ?
INDIA HONEST failed to understand if the part time politician , working for three months in every five years, Ms. Priyanka Gandhi has not been informed by the Congress mentors helping her in the campaign that this is a central election to elect 543 members of Loksabha ?
It is doubt full if the part timer politician has been boozed with the idea that it is a state assembly election for Gujarat, where an incumbent CM Narendra Modi has to defend his acts for last five years for the benefit and welfare of 6 crore people of Gujarat ?
IH regrets that the enlightened fourth pillar,the news media is devoting 95% of their coverage time and energy in discussing what a dynasty's part time member Priyanka is talking about Modi's Gujarat, while it has decided to ignore discussion on the distress and plight of 125 crore Indians in last ten years rule by Sonia-Rahul Gandhi led UPA government .
The bigger and serious question is today before people, don't we need a change in the news media every five years ? Who is evaluating, judging or correcting these media, who has become obsolete , as they have grossly failed to raise real and sensible issues to be focused.
Is it not true that too much TRP plus revenue based commercialised media is a curse for healthy democracy" .
