RaGa said Modi's Election Expenses Loan will be Paid by Land Sale

India Honest wishes to know why the Modi government's amendments to Congress's 2013 land acquisition law are getting critiqued in Parliament and on streets ? The question now often raised is that, if this politically staged fire storm on the land ordinance having alleged it to be anti-poor, has more to do with one futile attempt for enlightened Rahul Gandhi's rehabilitation in active politics, than a true question of social injustice and discrimination to farmers through the amended new bill?

Will Papoo's planned Coup de grace succeed him in unbridled lapping up of the crown seat of Congress Presidency within this stinky hostile terrain of divided loyalty? Time only will tell if Papoo Pass ho Gaya ?

India Honest argues why in addition to the BJP, who as an opposition didn't oppose the Congress's original  Land bill 2013 land law. just before election lest they be called 'anti-poor',the others, the large number of Congress CMs had opposed this bill, knowing well it is their own party's central law?

Why then, those Congress CMs were scared of the proposed complex acquisition process, that will make acquisition of land difficult rather almost impossible for any viable purposes, including the industry and other infra activities ? But it is clear now, that the then Congress leadership knew well of their ensuing defeat and they wished revenge by placing a stumble block on the way for BJP's future course of action to put economy back on track. As if the farmer's interest was really so important than why Congress slept on it for nine and half years in their one decade old tenure ?

India Honest wishes to discuss what were the Key changes introduced by the NDA government through the Ordinance. First it made changes in the Social Impact Assessment clause, where 80% consent was required, to Exempt five special categories of land use: a) defence, b) rural infrastructure, c) affordable housing, d) industrial corridors, and e) infrastructure projects including Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects where central government owns the land.

This change to give exemption had became necessary to rule out the possibility of inordinate delay and involved huge operational difficulty in the implementation of the difficult and impractical "SIA 80%" rule only for the five ultra important sectors. This SIA 80% rule means 80% of affected landowners as well all other everyone who works on that land  have to agree before a land area can be acquired. It is a time killings and difficult persuasive task, involving also the often lethargic  local administration.

Otherwise for all other basic purposes the Modi land law and the Congress land law is the same, there is no special favour to business as alleged. Neither the rich and big industrial houses are especially favoured, nor any other compromise has been made on compensation formula, farmers will  get the same four times the market value of land they own.

Yes in addition this new Modi bill will  bring thirteen new areas that were not covered by the Congress' old law and landowners will now get high rates for compensation for their land in the new areas also.

India Honest could not understand a single logical point in RaGa's opposition to the new bill .What he wants to suggest that all the activities in the above five strategic and crucial sectors should be halted for indefinite period or completely stopped, risking even security preparation for defence of nation ?

It is proved now that all these opposition dramas are more of an anti Modi or anti development plaque of Congress or otherwise how Rahul indulged in cheap political gimmick by alleging Modi with loan of thousands crores from industrialists and that to compensate by selling farmer's land.

India Honest wonders if it is not the immaturity of a Vice President of Congress, than it must be the stupidity of the Congress leadership to insult the whole nation and along with thousands of assembled  poor farmers and their future trust on him. Or otherwise let the recharged and energised Rahul Gandhi explain in simple and clear words, how Modi Law Still Hurting Poor ?
