Is It the "Raj Dharam" These Secular Leaders Preaching About For So Many Years ?

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav blamed the recent riots in Muzaffarnagar on a political conspiracy, that only confirms that Akhilesh Yadav is still working in denial mode and not willing to accept the bare facts known to everybody. And is this the "Raj Dharam" those secular leaders preaching about for so many years ?

In politics, every body including the ruling party and the opposition parties, have equal rights and responsibilities to work for betterment and protection of the people of the state or nation, irrespective of who is his supporter or who had or will vote for him. You cannot deny this right and responsibilitiy  at any cost, and trouble starts only when you start discrimination among people. That is regarded as non fulfilment and non adherence of this criteria of  "Raj Dharam" and it is more related to the ruling party leaders.

Have you fulfilled this  "Raj Dharam" ? Big no. Why didn't you took all the leaders including your staunch opponents into confidence, when there was crisis of confidence of security in the minds of people of different groups ? Why you did not initiate "Peace misson" jointly with all parties ?

Why you allowed certain groups to hold Maha Panchayat ; when the situation was tense ? Why you restricted the opposition leaders from visiting the distressed people ( you could have accompanied them along with security forces).

Why you and your leaders were freely roaming in those areas ? Why you acted in such a way that certain groups of people felt unsecured ? Most important you handled the tension, with the actions and support of only your party's local leaders and blocked the flow of real or actual news, giving way for fake rumour mongering, hoping this will help your party only.

But when this misfired, you are shouting of conspiracy. That is why, you only should not be blamed for the conspiracy of division and polarisation ? Is not  most of the residents are blaming your local leaders for the biased mishandling of the minor incident turning into a major communal riot ?

The fire has not extinguished completely, it is still brewing in the minds of people who suffered;and now  it is your utmost duty to open out all the minor details of the riot. The more you hide by blaming one or other, the more suspense grows and it delays the normalcy.

See and justify yourself with the following media news :

A) Headlines Today got access to videos that expose politicians belonging to both the communities who incited violence with their hate speeches and inflammatory statements.Even as the key parties involved -- Congress, BJP, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal -- the videos of the assembly of people for two subsequent mahapanchayats in Muzaffarnagar and that of a religious gathering following special Friday prayers tell the truth behind the larger conspiracy. The religious gathering on August 30 saw some politicians from the community as they delivered extremely inflammatory speech.

B) The religious gathering was followed by Jat community's khap mahapanchayat, which took place despite prohibitory orders in place. Certainly, the mahapanchayat was not possible without the local authorities' connivance. The videos of these gathering show that some of the people present there were armed heavily.

And, the politicians played their part by delivering hate speeches. Be it Sadhvi Prachi of the BJP at the mahapanchyat, or BSP MP Qadir Rana, Congress leader Saeed-uz-Zaman, Samajwadi Party's Rashid Siddiqui and another BSP leader Noor Salim Rana, all were present at the religious gathering spouting venom to inflame passions.Ironically, most of these politicians were not booked under Section 153-A of Indian Penal Code despite their hate speeches.

Now questions remain why the district administration allowed these congregations despite prohibitory orders and why the leaders were allowed by the police to incite violence.

C ) As they limp back from the bloodshed and destruction, residents of the riot-hit areas of the district are now grappling with a kind of fear psychosis which suggests that the psychological wounds of the communal violence may take longer to heal than the physical ones. "The mistrust between the two communities has widened due to communal clashes and it will take some time for normal relations to be restored," said Vikash Kumar, a resident of Anand Vihar locality. Army and police personnel are keeping a constant vigil and the eyes of the country are on the district, but that has not prevented a sense of insecurity from seeping into the minds of the residents here.

Communal Tension Raising its Head in Most Sensitive State Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh government has imposed a curfew in Muzaffarnagar, where six people have been killed and more 34 are injured in communal clashes in  the area.

A freelance journalist associated with IBN7 Rajesh Verma was shot dead in the Kotwali police station area while in another incident  a photographer was mercilecly beaten to death in Thana Sikhera area when he was covering the clashes as his professional duty.

Tension in the district started on the August 27 many senior officer along with five companies each from the PAC and Rapid Action Force (RAF) have been deployed in the area. ADG Law and Order of the state Arun Kumar confirmed the death while assuring that the situation is under control.  Curfew has been imposed in 3 police station areas, as the situation is tense. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that the incidents of clashes unfortunate but the culprits will not be spared. We have given order to take strict action if required. Curfew has also been imposed in certain places. I appeal to the people to maintain peace & do not believe in rumours. Action will be taken against those who try to disturb the peace & order,". The state has sincerely fulfilled its noble duty and obligation as the state government announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the family of the deceased.

More specific details are bound  to be censored to calm down the tension, but still the political leadership of all political parties must work for bringing the peace fast in the trouble torn area,as flaring ccommunal tension resulting in violence has become much frequent event in most sensitive state  of Uttar Pradesh.
