CBI had filed a charge sheet on July 2013 calling the encounter fake and saying it was a joint operation between Gujarat Police and Intelligence Bureau (IB).In this connection, in August, 2013 CBI arrested Gujarat additional director general of police PP Pandey in addition to the earlier arrest of IPS officer GL Singhal and five other policemen, while Singhal and others were given bail as CBI failed to file charge sheet in stipulated 90 days.
The charge sheet filed by CBI in the Ishrat case mentioned that Singhal had submitted pen drives of recorded conversations with then minister of state for home Amit Shah and one about a meeting held in the office of state attorney general in which some ministers were present to allegedly derail encounter investigations. Obviously later on the CBI officials had questioned Amit Shah, another former minister Praful Patel, present minister Pradeepsinh Jadeja and advocate general Kamal Trivedi regarding the recorded conversations submitted by Singhal, before they were to file second charge sheets in the case.
The media sources now says that since the CBI has not found any concrete proof to indict Narendra Modi's assistant, the CBI won't charge the former home minister of Gujarat Amit Shah, who is now the right hand of BJP's PM. candidate Narendra Modi and also BJP's campaign in charge in the major state of UP.
INDIA HONEST wonders, why CBI (it is often regarded as Congress tool agency to control the opposition in submission, like corruption/extra wealth cases on Mulayam Singh and Mayawati, that failed to prove/establish any thing after several years of harassment to the accused,) is reported as that they "won't" file any charge sheet on Amit Shah ? Why it should not be that CBI "can't" file any charge sheet as they don't have any prove against Amit Shah ?
IH argues why not this is a case of "fake charge sheet by CBI" (planned at the instance of Congress and its so called secular allies) instead of a case of "fake encounter" ?
