Is not this, "A Secret Exercise Intending to Create another UPA 3 from the Back Door" ?

The breaking news "Nitish Kumar meets with political parties to shape a ‘credible’ third political front ahead of Lok Sabha polls" , aftermath Lalu's alliance with Congress, leads to nowhere ab-intio, in the faction led political scenario in India.

Nitish has stoked the third front matter just when the election is about to be announced and especially immediately after losing out to Lalu in allying with Congress. Hoping to ally the bete noire Congress, that was called the most corrupt party umpteenth times in last one decade by the same Nitish Kumar in association with BJP, the JD(U) was unceremoniously was dumped by the Congress ahead of LoK Sabha elections.

That only made Nitish Kumar to call a meeting of over a dozen political parties here on February 5 to shape a ‘credible’ third political alternative ahead of Lok Sabha polls. The parties who have so far given consent for the meeting include the AIADMK, the AGP, the JVM , the Samajwadi Party, the JD(S), and four Left Parties.

Elaborating on the proposed alliance, senior JD(U) leader KC Tyagi said the idea was to bring together all erstwhile Janata Dal factions, who earned political limelight on the anti-Congress plank in 1988.

INDIA HONEST argues, subsequently BJP was an important component of that process, completed by the formation of NDA, a secular, growth oriented, anti corruption association till middle of 2013, and how in next three months the same BJP became non secular, pro corruption and anti growth, as termed by Nitish Kumar ?

JD(U) leader KC Tyagi further said, “Congress has failed to face the challenges posed by the communal forces in the country. The parties coming together will essentially form pre-poll political understanding which may transform into a political front after the polls.

JD (U) leaders have met Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee also to build bridges for a post-poll alliance. Addressing a rally in Kolkata on this week, Mamata had said "Congress is not an alternative to BJP and BJP is not an alternative to Congress. A federal front should be formed,” she said.

The talks are also on with the YSR Congress leader Jagan Mohan Reddy, who held a closed door meeting for almost two hours with Nitish in December. Reddy has told leaders he would open cards only after watching moves of political parties when a bill on Telengana is tabled in parliament.

INDIA HONEST wonders, where this internally fighting regionalism of Indian political parties will lead to ? Most regional parties that are non aligned with either NDA or UPA are concentrated in few states including, Tamilnadu, West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, UP and the entire North East, even if all of these regional parties get around 200 to 250 seats, they cannot practically form any national government, as out of these 250 even fifty % of the member parties cannot join hands among themselves for any purpose.

Like Mamta cannot join hands with Left, TDP cannot associate with YSR or the other Telangana party, Jaylalita cannot work with DMK, again you have to take one out of two in UP, either Mulayam or Mayawati, thus effective strength of the Third Front can never go beyond 100 to 150 mark.

Then how justified the Maya,Mamta, Jaylalita or the Nitish Kumar are in raising the dummy and bogus claim of making a national government out of this imaginary bogey of Third front, thus the whole secret exercise intends to create another UPA3 from the back door.

IH seriously intends to alert people of India that 2014 election is one of the most crucial test to find an answer, can we afford another five years of dismal performance like the minority and corrupt government of UPA2 or really we need a strong leadership of NDA, or do we have remote chances of finding any other practical and positive alternative in regionalism, on hand ?
