Announcement for Creation of Telangana and Allocation of Hyderabad Coming Soon.

A crucial decision is expected very soon, most likely today  itself for the creation of Telangana, and for the allocation of the capital, Hyderabad on the following lines :

a) As planned originally by the government, Hyderabad will be a shared capital between the two new states for the next 10 years.

b) After ten years Hyderabad will only belong to Telangana.

c) The prosperous IT hub will be the part of the controversial decision by the centre.

d) While it is to be noted that the two regions of Andhra Pradesh; Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra, (referred to as "Seemandhra")  are bitterly opposed to the division of the state.

e) Most of the ministers from Seemandhra are gathering today at the home of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy ( Reddy  belongs to Seemandhra ) to protest against the cabinet's plans.

f) The cabinet is expected to adopt a resolution on the creation of Telangana, to be sent to President , with the recommendation to refer it to the Andhra Pradesh state legislature.

g) Andhra Pradesh Assembly is meant to provide feedback on the resolution, but the Centre is not obliged to accept its opinion.

h) The group includes three ministers from Seemandhra - Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, Pallam Raju and Kishore Chandra Deo and Jaipal Reddy from Telangana.

i) The Congress party has been confronting serious dissent from its own leaders from Seemandhra, as they do not want this division.

j) The Congress party has set up a committee headed by Defence Minister AK Antony, to gather and address the concerns of local stake-holders, and leaders from both Seemandhra and Telangana have already presented their views.

k) A group of union ministers will be assigned to figure out, in consultation with local leaders, how to divide water, power and revenue between the two states.

Rising Graph of Narendra Modi and NDA

NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, one of the most astute political minds, accepted the growing inclination of fact that Narendra Modi as BJP's candidate for prime minister has boosted the possibilities of NDA forming the next government. He said,"Any party which crosses 180-190 can form the government with the support of regional parties. It will have the opportunity to form the government,".

It is worth to note that the veteran politician Pawar did not agree that BJP projecting Modi as its PM candidate would hinder the party's post-poll quest for numbers. "Frankly, this is not an issue. It would all depend on the figure,", in total contrast to most of the opposition including Nitish Kumar forecasting doom for Modi as BJP choice.

The NCP boss pointed to the speculation about TDP's possible return to the NDA to back up his contention, and ditto was the observation of one top Left leader, who after interaction with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, confirmed the Telugu Desam Party is most likely to go with the NDA.

TDP Chief, though not willing to come out in open about his choice ,but made much clear by saying that he had played a crucial role in three out of the four non-Congress governments at the Centre. Naidu's political desperation was visible, while he launched a vicious attack on the Congress and Sonia Gandhi accusing them of taking the country to the brink of "national crisis" with scams. "One woman is responsible for the misery of 120 crore people,.

Many suspect that Naidu is hemmed in from all sides as Telangana Rashtriya Samithi and Congress are likely to come together and do well in Telangana, while in Seemandhra, YSR Congress will be on top,and the three joining hands after election leaves Naidu nowhere. Here BJP as a prospective winner at centre will give better option to both TRS and TDP (or even YSR ). The 42 seat of present Andhra will be an open game maker for anyone winning power at centre, NDA or UPA.

NCP Chief Pawar stressed that regional players will decide the next coalition at the Centre, as it  will be formed with the support of many state leaders like Trinamool, AIADMK or DMK, either of the two UP players -- Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mayawati -- Navin Patnaik and Nitish Kumar. But political observer  are of firm marginal distaste for Modi will evaporate nearer to election and it will completely be overruled if BJP numbers have favourable edge, confirming the theory "in politics nobody is permanant enemy".

Narendra Modi Sounds Poll Bugle At Hyderabad

Narendra Modi, the most promising BJP leader for the post of prime minister has set his eyes on the prospective allies for the NDA coalition, as he began to show seeds of a larger overboard for the 2014 election.

The chief campaign manager of the BJP's election campaign for 2014, today joined his campaign in the  Southern centre at Hyderabad, when he began to woo the prospective allies in the southern leaders like J Jayalalithaa and Chandrababu Naidu with praise and the call for a combined effort to make the country "Congress-free."

Addressing a capacity crowd at Hyderabad's LB Stadium he tear off into the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre on a host of issues including border security, foreign policy, the economy and Telangana, for which he accused the Congress of "turning brother against brother" in Andhra Pradesh. He counted the spat of protests that erupted on its announcement for a separate Telangana state that has provoked in the coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions. Accusing Congress he questioned,Who is responsible for the rift between people of Telangana and Seemandhra ?

Again he praised the legacy of former Chief Minister and one of the biggest stalwart of Telugu people, NT Rama Rao. The idolised leader N T Rama Rao was remembered to a call to oust the Congress, aided by his son-in-law,Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party, a one time ally of the BJP both at the Centre and the state.

Narendra Modi was equally happy to praise Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa remembering her as she also joined the Vajpayee government and as she regards him as a "very good friend".

The gathering of nearly one lakh supporters amid the ongoing Telangala protest, and the chorus of large gathering joining the tune of Modi in responding with  Jai Telangana and Jai Seemandhra, assures his capabilities to win the hearts of Telugu people. The first step in South was a win win presentation

Hurried Adventure of Telangana Opened Pandora Box of Woes for India

It is shameless adventure the national party Congress has made by rushing through in last hour the Telangana announcement  on forming the new state for electoral gains, while ignoring the biggest mass movements in recent history. It has opened a Pandora box of woes for the safety, security and welfare of India and their people.  A timely approach and resolve of these burning issues would have met the aspirations of not only Telugu people, but many other regional communities in other parts of India.

But a inordinate delay of undecisive Congress leadership has made serious act of gross negligence and the last minute hurry on Telangana has thrown the ideological theme of national integrity and consensus to backwards and opened the gate of agitation, threat, intimidation tactics to the forefront. It is only because of the cheap but unwise, indecisive, untimely decisions and because of beyond tolerance delaying practice to gain  more through electoral politics; the Ruling Congress party had been playing for long. The people must ask when every thing could have been managed in last five years of Congress rule with proper negotiation between the concerned groups with better harmony, why the leadership has waited so long and what has changed since 2009 to this last part of 2013 for taking this decision now.

Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha BJP. MP. Jaitley has observed reasonably  in saying,“The movement for Telangana has been one of the biggest mass movements in India in recent history. This movement has sustained itself for a long time. Government should have responded to it well in advance,” .

A last minute decision, to benefit in next election, had opened the Pandora Box with at least seven  agitations namely *Gorkhaland in West Bengal, *Bodoland in Assam, *Karbi Anglong again in hills of Assam, *Koch-Rajbongashis, *Dimaasas communities also in vast Assam, *Garos in Meghalay, tribal (*IPFT) in Tripura and many others have started mass agitation putting the life in major parts of North East states and part of Bengal on fire with in indefinite strike and bandh, aroson, crippling of train and highway routes virtually cutting these areas from rest of India.

All this could have avoided if the Ruling Congress leaders had the vision of handling our great nation of such a big  diversity and with differing needs and ambitions. But very sad, these rulers of India for almost one full decade have neither vision nor time to look into the problems of people from independent angles, away from cheap electoral politics. And for this the nation and the innocent people have to pay the price.

One thing is for Sure this LIMPING AND DUMB Government and its controlling leadership will not be able to solve any of these problems in its lifetime, without burning the fingers of themselves as well without jeopardising and compromising with national interest.

India May Soon Be Divided in Fifty Small States

India may soon be divided in at least fifty small states if the demands coming from different sections of people and political parties views are accepted.

BSP supremo Mayawati  reiterated her demand of dividing Uttar Pradesh into four parts into four smaller units: Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, Awadh Pradesh and Paschim Pradesh. The Samajwadi Party also launched an attack on Mayawati's proposal and stated that it was against any division of the State.SP general secretary Khushwaha said, "Mayawati is not a strong enough leader to rule over a state as big as UP, so she is trying to divide it into small parts. We are against it. We do not believe in dividing the country any further,".

Union Minister and RLD national chief Ajit Singh said its demand for Harit Pradesh will also be met before the coming Lok Sabha elections, saying,"For Harit Pradesh, united efforts and consistent struggle is required. We however hope that Harit Pradesh will become a reality before (2014) Lok Sabha elections," and called upon people to get ready for an agitation for Harit Pradesh.

Another Congress Union Minister Jairam Ramesh also wants UP be divided in more parts, as he says," Purely from an administrative point of view, a state of over 20 crores people, 72 districts and over 800 blocks ....it is just not governable,".

Sobha De, the noted writer tweeted, "Maharashtra and Mumbai??? Why not? Mumbai has always fancied itself as an independent entity, anyway. This game has countless possibilities".

Gorkha Janmukti Morcha  fighting for a Gorkhaland state, had intensified their stir in Darjeeling hills area with indefinite strike demanding Gorakhaland in West Bengal. The GJM  has allowed next two days to enable  students and  tourists to leave. GJM chief Bimal Gurung had resigned as chief executive of the Gorkha Territorial Administration. While at the same time nearby areas have asked for Greater Coochbihar.

In Assam, violence erupted in support of a Karbi Anglong state with attacks on the houses of Congress leaders and  party office, at the same time the demand of Bodoland  resurfacing forcefully, with Bodoland  supporters announcing a rally in Kokrajhar .

MORE DEMANDS WILL BE SOON POURING IN FROM : new unheard regions including say  JAMMU.

The movement for Vidarbha got a new fillip as more Congress leaders urged the party’s leadership to cede the demand since its case was ‘older and stronger’ than Telangana. BJP has supported creation of Vidarbha on the grounds that it favoured smaller States, though the ally Shiv Sena has opposed the demand.

Telangana Tangle Unfolding

Congress has made up its mind to divide the state of Andhra Pradesh in two states.  which it was refusing for last several years but the same Congress in the run-up to the polls in 2014, has to go ahead to form Telangana with much urgency. The issue of a separate state had first came out in the open in 1960, by the students of Osmania University in Hyderabad protested against discrimination. Since then the demand of the separate statehood has been raised by the people and political parties of Telangana region continuously.

An hasty decision after so much refusal and without internal agreement within Congress has caught many Andhra leaders in a bind and they are opposing Telangana. Andhra C.M.  Reddy opposed to the decision saying the bifurcation will cause water and power problems for the new state. The bifurcation is also likely to benefit YSR Congress politically. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi  has demanded and agitated for the new state be created immediately while leaders of Seemandhra region has opposed the move as unwilling to give up Hyderabad.

Judging the past political history, and predicting the future well, CM. Kiran Reddy told  Digvijaya Singh that he will not support the split and will not be a party to any destructive decision, has possibly offered or submitted his resignation to party president Sonia Gandhi. It is feared that formation of Telangana will create problems in many states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh where there are demands for separate statehood, while the Gorkhaland stir has already started.
