Congress spokesman Mr. Chacko said it was wrong to say the defence minister had given a clean chit to the Pakistan army. “Any attempt to twist, misinterpret or politicise the issue will be unfortunate. There is no denying the role of the Pakistani army,” but he announced that the talks should continue; and he argued that, when the BJP government was in power, "did they not talk to Pakistan as in Agra and Lahore? As such talks should not break, talks, not war is a solution.”
Honest India panel wants to show case another instance of world diplomacy to teach some brave lesson to the Congress leadership, and not to run those cowardice arguments, that raise the anger of people and demoralise the brave Indian Army :
US President Obama has cancelled a planned summit meeting with the Russian President Putin. The White House press secretary Jay Carney said yesterday that the US. president had decided to postpone the summit meeting between the two leaders after concluding that there had not been enough progress made on the “bilateral agenda” to make a meeting worthwhile.
He said, “Given our lack of progress on issues such as missile defence and arms control, trade and commercial relations, global security issues, and human rights and civil society in the last twelve months, we have informed the Russian government that we believe it would be more constructive to postpone the summit until we have more results from our shared agenda,”
The White House press secretary Jay Carney further clarified and added that Russia’s “disappointing decision” to grant temporary asylum to Snowden was “also a factor” in Obama’s decision.
Will Congress and UPA leadership and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh take any moral lesson from US President Mr.Obama's cancelled Russian Summit ?
